Kreative Kaur

My name is Pritpal. I’m a UK based, self-taught artist. Ever since I can remember, art has been a hobby of mine.  For me, it allows a path away from daily life and into a world full of patterns and swirls! I adore fine art and appreciate work with deeper meaning than what meets the eye. I would describe my work as dreamy. I enjoy painting for myself, almost as a way of therapy but I also like to paint about topics that I feel strongly about. Sometimes I write about my pieces to give a little insight into the meaning behind them.  I continually strive to challenge myself. I’ve invested more time into painting in the last few years. Prior to this, I used to draw but was too afraid to use colour in case I would ruin the drawing. Now I couldn’t imagine doing a piece without colour! I believe art shows a personal journey of growth and self-discovery.  I began to share my work online and it has been wonderful journey becoming friends with so many talented Sikh artists who share the same passion as me.
